how peculiar.
was on an unexpected trip to the night safari and mustafa last night.
night safari was dressed up in halloween theme. wasn't scary but appreciate their effort to make the place spooky. even the tour guide in the tram tried his best to introduce the night safari with halloween-tailored details. they have to consider the kids, so it wasn't too bad.
have always thought night safari wouldn't be too crowded but i was wrong.. was packed and bustling with people (and ghosts).
was also my first trip to mustafa, and they incredibly stocked up everything under one roof. you name it, they have most of it. no wonder it's always jam-packed.
felt like a tourist. am i really a local? lol.

Dear Junie,
Sorry, this year's been late in my entry. Three years flew in a flash and many of us have long embarked their new lives in the working world.
Haven't met up for quite a while, I too, wonder how's life been for them.
As for me, I've been busy at work, fending malicious lies and rumours, steering clear of politics. It never fail to amuse me how some adults behave worse than kids, really.
Will keep this short, don't want to harp on history anymore..

oops.
major MIA for a good two to three months! been hell busy with several transitional phases of work.
finally decides to leave workplace more promptly (by saying that, leaving by 7pm is considered god-send), to breathe and have more me-time.
oh yes, just received an sms from a secondary school mate about her wedding this october.
wedding?! no, you didn't hear me wrong.
realises "wedding" is becoming an increasingly common topic among my kakis. we've reached this stage already! omg.
sudden itch to fly a kite. just struck me that i've only made kites (during those art classes, very juvenile looking ones la of course.), but never fly them!
time to start building up on my tamiya model too..
ok getting random. night and till then!

Been neglecting..
"Huh?! You're not working there already??"
"OMG, you mean they're together already?"
"Har, you've submitted your FYP? You haven't got my survey answers yet!"
....
And all my friends will then unanimously say, "Ya la! You so busy..."
Then I realise most of the time I'm cooped with 15739768 stuff to do at work, neglecting quality friends and me-time.
Apologies for my super-lagged replies, apologies for my MIA. Been a little out-of-reach but that doesn't mean I've forgotten about you! Give me some time to get my work on track, and we'll meet to play yeah? :)

a piece of chess.
feeling really rotten when im pushed to shoulder all the damn responsibilities when i had, in the first place, did my share of work and gave ample reminders. now that something happened, all you thought off was to push it all to me.
comes Monday and i really have no idea if i can control and minimise the damages.
argh. damn it. this blemish is making me really upset.
i guess no amount of mahjong/ shopping time could make me less sad at least for the weekend :(

If "love" could be placed into an equation...
... Probably not since "love" is a complex construct, as explained by Prof Yukawa in Suspect X.
Went to catch the movie with great anticipation. But sadly, plot did not utilise as much science/math as I've expected. Not as thrilling as L pitting against Yagami Light in Death Note. :(
Plot revolves around just a single story and the suspect is already made known from the start.. So not too much stuff for audience to speculate. Or it was pretty obvious. :(
The thriller took a more romantic angle to soften the mood. A nice tweak to see how a genius succumb to love, protect and make unconditional sacrifices for the one he loves.
Considering the fact that I was charmed by Yukawa's intelligence and looks.. this movie is a pretty good watch. Awwww. :D

S310 goes overseas!
...
Well, across the Straits of Johor also "overseas" I suppose, no? :) Anyway, S310 finally spends with a different currency (the previous trip we went to was Bintan, and we spent in SGD.. -_-)!
Talks of the trip started probably during the Bintan trip itself. With our almighty procrastination and relentless coordination by JT, we finally set off in December 08 (Yes, I know this is long overdue...)!

It's super creepy taking the mono-rail. It speeds like hell and I always have a bad omen of it toppling to one end. And all of us gonna fall to our deaths *choy* There's no way to study/read in the monorail. For once, I thought our local MRT is such a great blessing, comfortable and has an extensive network.

Day 2 - We went Mid-Valley! Gah, more train rides!
Poh getting a lil' grumpy of the incessant rain and 1004824 train rides. I like this pic!
Despite the long rides, we love to self-entertain by taking loads of pics! :)
Finally, Mid Valley.. We trudged on into the mall with our awfully tired feet. Time for pedicure~
Not as fantastic as I thought it should be (looking at the posh exterior of the salon). But well, we're glad.
Caught sight of this locally long-gone fad catching up in KL -
An intriguing sight, I can't help to think - Oh man! Whose legs did the fishes feed on before his turn?!

Can't emphasis enough how "rush" everything went. Made it to board the coach in time anyhow :)

Watched Transformers during the coach ride! Can't wait for Part II... Woots!
