is the state i'm in now - after a day (and night) of concussion.
all thanks to stupid fever.. urgghhh...
was feverish the past few days, didn't really bother about it since i was still "function-able" (i.e. able to do projects, meetings, tutorials, new assignments, make appointments, and the likes).
in fact, i was still well and fine yesterday morning.. did online simulation game with my proj mates, and scheduled follow-up meetings for this proj and FYP.
afternoon: beginning to feel really sick. experiencing cold palms and feet, albeit boiling temperature. could not do anything but lie in bed (and to bear with the sickening construction noise pollution downstairs. damn.). record temperature: 40.8 degrees.
night: finally wobbled my way to the doctor.. (and bearing with his nagging for seeking consultation only till now, why do i have 3-day week when there's no such thing in nus medicine.. yada yada..) ate a whole irritating load of medicine (psst. but i deliberately skipped the cough mixture) and plonked into bed straight after.
result: i missed all the proj meetings! damnnn. i hate this.

the crazy weather is tormenting me.
my brain is torturing me with haunting flashbacks.
i am weak.

my FYP group mates met at marina foodcourt for proj meeting..
well, we chose marina for an underlying agenda of course - to have the best view of the fireworks display! woohoo. project wasn't on top priority.. oops.
the spot we chose was airy and comfy. i couldn't help but feel like a tourist by doing this:

familiar buildings look just different through the lens.
marina bay has beautiful blue waters!
another sidetrack.. took a pic of clarke quay (or is this boat quay? arh, whatever.) by night..

scenic. scenic. scenic.
anyway..
i decided to take a pic every now and then. we were bored while waiting anyway.
from this,

to this,

and the crowd grew bigger - in the foodcourt as well as people walking towards marina bay.

night's coming real soon.. can't wait!

arh, the anticipated moment coming real soon..

by this time, marina foodcourt is jam-packed with people.

and it stretches on.. thank goodness we have a table to ourselves. save us the fate of being squashed and poked.
oh yes, start liao start liao!
....
huh? start already or not?! we aren't sure.. all we see were speckles of colourful lights..

-_-'' alright, it's Go Fly Kite!
finally.. the real show began.

my handphone was not exactly doing justice to this real spectacular show.. it's awesome! you see hearts, planets, and loads more! every second is a surprise!

few pics, most of the time i was busy capturing vids. and this is the climax of the entire show.. the crowd got high too! woohoo.
for more videos, you can visit the other links.. ha, my vids are short and in bits and pieces.. others did a better job with digicam i suppose. if you want me to upload the other snippets, do tell me. (:
why did my prideful heart tinge again?

because everyone else is happy.
the freshie to the 21-club is very happy and loved.

during the thailand trip. i thought she looked real elated here.
our official globetrotter is oozing with happiness.

her belated birthday gathering at popeyes. (zhiming looks even happier though, by spoiling our pic! ha.)
our sky-diner is happier with her boyfriend than the food.

then i realise jeraldine doesn't have that wide big smile as i looked through my photo library.. hers is the mild, sweet kind. lol. one of the old couple pics i have.. eons ago..
my sis is satisfied with her ultra-sinful Coco Exotic from Four Leaves. 8 (!!) different layers of chocolate, including choc mousse + layers of choc + choc topping + chocolate sponge + biscuit and such..
sinful, but lovely to all die-hard chocolate fans.
happy birthday sis! stop bullying meee! (:
the kids were happy "performing" at the water fountain (is this called a fountain? water works? ar, whatever.) in bugis. i guess this is the first (and probably the only) fountain in singapore which is so widely used as a playground than a decorative item for the building.
whee.. do adults play this?
erm.. i guess they are more interested in.. dancing! woah.. macham clubbing can. mind you, this is a company's dinner and dance in suntec convention hall!!
happening la, we were having duties but all of us were grooving to the upbeat music. the dj is good!
the stage, with better lighting.
my dearest celestine chuckles and makes me very happy too!
so kawaiiiiiiiii..
she is so cheerful la! and she smiles to my camera like almost all the time? (:
oops. caught her unaware. she is busy munching.. lol
all smiles.. she makes you happy too, doesn't she? (:
the days of innocence and simple bliss..
now, now.
are you happy too? (:

caused so much negative vibes..
that was not intended at all!
it took some time to clear the air,
but the sentence remained etched in their memories.
finally realise how damaging relationships could go, just by a wrong tweak.
i'll be cautious.
i'll mince my words before speaking.

...
i was on my way home on bus 65. and as fellow bus 65 peeps would know, the bus is infamously crowded with uh.. uhh.. people. (bus 65 peeps should know who i'm referring to. but please, i do not have any ill intention to ignite any bad feelings about anyone.)
thankfully i got myself a seat quite early during my journey.
then i noticed this young couple trying to find seats. the girl found one, and the guy got a seat (which was perhaps a 50cm distance away from the girl) soonafter.
i wasn't really paying attention to them while i was stoning (and hoping that the bus would be less crowded real soon). it was only until the guy stood up when i was zapped back to reality.
the guy was obviously furious. and he was glaring so hard at the man who was standing close in front of the girl. he really looked as if he was going to fight it out with that man (perhaps, if the bus was less crowded).
the furious guy dragged his gf off the next bus stop, leaving the.. looking-embarrassed man behind.
i'm not sure what did that embarrassed man do.. standing too close that infringes decency? or peering at the girl? or none?
...
but at that moment when that furious guy glared at the embarrassed man, i was like "woah.. if someone would protect me like this.."
whether the guy was over-reacting or not, he loves the girl isn't it? who will confront the other party if he/she didn't care for the one he/she is protecting? duh.
at least the girl can be free from being ogled at/(accidentally?) brushed by weird people. i mean weird, irritating people. she has the best bodyguard ever!
...
p.s. my sickening cough is back. stronger than ever. urgh. helpppp.
