singapore is crowded with marketing communications. flyers, posters, lcd screens.. you name it, they got (most of) it. space is so carefully utilised that not even an inch of space is wasted. but sadly, successful ones are rare.

ocbc has utilised a not-so-hidden-place-but-conspicuous-with-its-loud-red-colour to play up people's curiosity.
first, you see this red button which innocently says "press here".

but other than that red button, there's nothing else. it raises the temptation to press or not to press the button, 'cause you'd have absolutely no idea what's going to happen next.
so the people belonging to the curious league, you'll see this:

isn't this cool? at least there are more interesting street ads featured in singapore! people are getting more and more creative!

one business line you never thought of using advertisements. (i always thought they'd just use word of mouth and will get truckload of business)

no way am i doing free ads for them online. so i blocked their contact number. don't tell you wanna look for them hor!
it's attention-grabbing. i thought i saw a whooping 50 bucks when i first caught sight of it lying on the table. unfortunately, nope.. it's simply one of their promotional gimmick. when did such "financial company" evolve till this stage of using flyers to attract business huh?
but i must say they are quite successful. among the other random flyers in the mailbox asking you to change your window grilles, door, rent/buy flat, woks/pans, tuition, (*insert all other crappy flyer ads in your mailbox).. at least im still amused by this flyer.
