so after my oh-so-suay adventure, both of us finally get to settle down for shopping at bugis.
actually this shopping trip is mainly for CNY. with an obligation in mind, hard to shop at ease also. i cant be forcing myself to like something so that i can have something new to wear for CNY right? but seems like year after year, ive been a culprit of the above crime. so i have lots of clothes that were worn only once or twice, during the cny period.
we went People of Asia, and finally! nicey clothes!! i especially like a grey top with very cutesy sleeves. but it looks weird on me. sigh. sad.. thinking of going to PoA in PS soon. at least that outlet is so much bigger, hopefully better.
went bugis street too.. and i bought this pair of.. erm.. pumps. which you will never expect me to wear. lol. its erm unique.. but my mum and sis say im a big weirdo. WTH. *sulks
shopping drains energy ok. or rather im getting old (sighhhh).. so we went De Toast for tea break.
i ordered iced milo, and flashed my matric card for student price. then that cheeky uncle smirked and say, '' You student meh? Don't bluff.. ''
-_-'' me: ''Uh.. I'm in NTU now leh.''
cheeky uncle: ''Ya la! Teaching there right?''
-_-'' me: ''I look that old meh!?''
the uncle chuckled and explained he said that to make us remember his store. cuz no one would question before ma.. DOTS! lame la. afterwhich he will end his statement with ''.. Teacher'' plus an act cute tone.. bah.
then kelvin came. he's one lucky guy can! like when all others complain about how siong NS life is, he gets to treat it like a 9 to 5 job. so we went dinner tog and yes, he NEVER fails to irritate me with his poor impersonation of my dear L!
then the usual shopping around.. then to bugis street again. i bought a pair of denim jeans! and as we were walking, we are looking for different things, like mingshu, she's looking for shoes and bags, im looking for clothes. so.. we got separated!
they were looking for me and i was looking for them. so i just stop at the bus stop. at least i can have a better view of the people streaming out of bugis street (by then, many shops were closing for the day).
cool! spotted kelvin! lol. he chided me for not bring hp out la. like i want to not bring my hp.. so all ends well and yes.. home sweet home. im bushed.
