finally there's time for a layout change.

i've been reluctant to change the layout for 3 reasons:

1. changing the layout is time-consuming
2. i didn't have the luxury of time to do so
3. difficult to find another layout i fancy (tied in with the right settings for IE, not mozilla firefox)

today is finally a rest day for me.. therefore time to indulge in unproductive activities. ha.
