Had a great cycling trip with the girls. We cycled all the way to Changi Beach! Woots. We then settled down at ECP for some water fun. It was then I realised I have not thread the sand & water since.. JC days or earlier.





We stopped by the jetty and saw many fishing enthusiasts. Are there seriously fishes swimming along our beach? I really wonder. But the jetty had a lingering stale smell. Is it the bait or the fish?! Lol.

And in the evening, we went to this ulu arcade and played old-school games! Heh, we spent most of our tokens shooting Jurassic Park Dinosaurs..

I love my short hair now! At first I was kinda apprehensive about having it bob-style, but I'm really happy with the results. Yayness! I just hope I'm able to maintain the hairstyle for long.

Jeremy pampers my hair with ZERO slipshod work. Lol.. Now I know why he's always fully booked. I love him! :D

Event at the Playground was freaking hottttt. It's difficult to get me tan/sun-burnt (I didn't get tanned even while kayaking), until this event. -_-'' Now I'm finally paying attention to sun-block lotion ads. I hope it's not too late.

In the midst of preparing for a getaway, so let's hope it all works out well! :D

ok, this is an official thank-you note to all who were really worried about me falling (really) sick.. i (think) am fine now.. less floaty and all. really really appreciate all your concern. especially my proj mates.. thankewwww for being so understanding and allow me to take a short rest in the midst of the "battles". haha.

thanks to poh, who even volunteered to help me take pictures for an assignment so that i can rest at home. appreciate that thought, but i rejected her kind offer.. it's just not fair to use sickness as an excuse for so many favours.

i thought i couldn't make it for her bday bash (was sitting for hours at the hair salon!).. anyway, i rushed from far east plaza to parkway.. and yeah, in time for dinner and cut-cake sing-along session! was amused - ivy kena assaulted by kids lor. the kids didn't really welcome the tk girls that night, we thought. heck.

ok! got more pics here le. the tkgirls were invited over to her house for a steamboat (cum yummy bbq-like chicken wings) feast!

perhaps the setting was really more "at home" (since we've visited her house for CNY for years, hence the familiarity), the tkgirls really "demure & resolute" no more. lol.. just imagine a round table of about 8 people.. screaming/shouting/loud gossiping across the table.. even lisi's boyfriend cannot tahan our presence (and flee into the room for computer games).. hahahaa! easier for more gossips now :)

after a much tiring get-together session.. we decided it was cut-cake time! woots.

this photoshoot is meant for the school to store our faces (in professional business suits) in their database. what for?

so that our prospective employers can match the resumes with the respective faces! -_-

why does it sound as if im meeting a prospective husband instead? gah.

don't expect too much from this photoshoot. there isn't any studio to speak of, just a makeshift corner in a room with the background stuck with white mahjong paper (yeah, that's our background for the photoshoot).

well, the professional bits may be the "stylist", who will advise you on whether your attire is appropriate and start using water nozzle spray to wet & style your hair.

or, the photographer. whom my friend loudly claimed that he looks so much like jack sparrow!

anyway, the photoshoot was pretty fast and a tad amusing to tilt the head at a weird angle (i.e. head move, shoulder don't move) and smile.

been harping on like a broken recorder about PROJECTS and more PROJECTS. yeah, to add on to my misery, i've got quizzes and tutorials to do too. the accounting module that im taking this sem is killing me.

i'm so movie-deprived.
and to think im currently taking a module on CINEMATIC techniques. oh talking about it, this module discusses movies like LOTR, the black and white films like The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa and Citizen Kane. very fun! woohoo. at first i was still worried about not meeting up to expectations since i NEVER watched LOTR (in whole) and the other films at all..


but i took the test, answered as if i know the movie (LOTR) and did quite well for it eh! haha. goes to show how well i can smoke through eh.


seriously, i'd want to devote that few hours to watch LOTR. wonder why i didnt catch the LOTR fever then. the whole production is sooo great. the few hours you see on-screen is the collective effort of a great great dedicated team. its beyond the actors you see like Arwen, Aragon, Legolas and Frodo. really. if you have time too, go watch it again. and take note of EVERY MINUTE detail that are painstakingly set up to immerse the audience into the story. very impressed. (:

so jealous when everyone else are telling me Protege is awesome, Just Follow Law is hilarious. i watched NONE. sad. and now i can't think of any nice movies to watch.

and no, NO MR BEAN MOVIE for me please. i don't understand why people are so amused by him. he scares me by his stupidity. he really SCARES me a whole lot from young. well, perhaps i do pity him for having to act foolishly stupid for so many years.

the sweet tooth session at azabu sabo taught me not to judge book by its cover. the bowl of ordinary looking glutinous balls looks.. ordinary. i didnt trust huili's enthusiasm over the bowl of dessert (i forgot what's the name..) initially. but after eating it, trust me. go order. the girls immediately ordered the second bowl to share. ha. its real simple bliss.. oiishi. (:

haha.. ivy! are u singaporean? can you imagine.. she first heard of ban luck in my house eh! lol.. but please, NEVER underestimate the power of BEGINNER'S LUCK. ivy was super lucky eh! and the cards she got were mostly the just-nice-21-points type! haha..

one of the projs that almost killed me. my deadline was wednesday, and this tvc was shot and completed the NIGHT BEFORE. thanks so much my dear kakis! this is when i realise.. i have so many angelic friends who are willing to go all out and help me in times of trouble! ultra grateful. *teary eyes*

ha.. i love the feeling of feeling blissed. (:

p.s. for ganbee's 21st birthday surprise, read it here. poh described the whole process of surprising bee aptly. koh jt, so where are the pics? meant to show the world the unglam, dark and cui side of ganbee! *evil laughter* and yes, i was so super stunned that ganbee elder brother actually talked, entertained and laughed with us! i've been to bee's house for so many years, he NEVER UTTER a word. all along the tk kakis are closer to bee's younger brothers.. (sidetrack: they are damn funny guys.. playing mahjong/blackjack with them never has a dull moment) what's wrong with Mr Gan that day?

lol.. anyway, bow, bee and me went to a ulu KTV at katong to sing! thanks to my sis' recommendation. lol.. it's really cheap, just that you got to bear with the overwhelming cigarette smell when you first enter the lounge. drinks, self help. i like it there for the no-frills package. and the people there are smarter. to prevent people from hogging the room after the singing duration, they might as well just shut the karaoke system. lol!

we shall go there next time okie? (:
